Complaint 

The complaint was submitted to CAO by a local NGO on behalf of community members. The complaint raises concerns about environmental and social impacts of a palm oil plantation, including water and soil pollution, land clearing and issues related to the implementation of a plasma agreement.

 

CAO Action

CAO found the complaint eligible for further assessment in February 2019 and has begun an assessment of the complaint. 

 

Status

The assessment of the case is ongoing.
