A regional workshop was held from March 14 through March 15, 2002 in Manila, Philippines. The purpose of the workshop was to enable the independent team conducting the Review to obtain stakeholder perspectives0n--and discuss ways to improve--the implementation, impact and effectiveness of IFC's Safeguard Policies. The perspectives shared at the workshop will contribute to the Final Report and the future of IFC's Safeguard Policies.
