Residents from the village of Olyanytsya in the Vinnytsia region of Ukraine, together with Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP) (collectively “the Parties”), wish to jointly commission a study to assess the cause of cracks and other damage to homes and buildings along a main roadway through the village. This study will help the Parties to resolve issues being discussed in a voluntary joint dialogue process run by the accountability offices of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The Parties invite interested and qualified experts to submit proposals to undertake a study on damage to homes and buildings along the roadway.

Those interested candidates with relevant experience and credentials are invited to submit proposal documents to Roman Koval < roman.ipcg [AT] > prior to 05:00pm Kyiv time, on July 10, 2020. This call for proposals from potential candidates makes no representation or promise in relation to procuring work from a candidate or candidates. Hence, candidate proposals should not be compiled with onerous expense or work. The Parties will not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing and submitting a proposal.

Proposal Documents

The proposal should include a brief summary of proposed methodology, descriptions of Team member(s) and CV(s), and a proposed budget and timeline of research completion, in line with the parameters described in the Terms of Reference. Applications may be submitted in Ukrainian. From submitted proposals, Parties will select a short list of finalist candidates to interview, likely via video conference, from which a final selection will be made.

The experts should have no past direct involvement in any design, development or implementation of any work for MHP, CEE Bankwatch Network, Centre for ecological initiatives (Ecoaction), National Ecological Centre of Ukraine NGO, nor have otherwise worked for them, nor taken clear positions on any of MHP’s business activities.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the expert(s) will also be expected to agree to certain safety measures to reduce the risk of transmission while undertaking their assignment.
