Raquel Gomez Fernandez, a Colombian national, is a Compliance Analyst at CAO. Before joining CAO, she worked for as a Case Assistant in the Compliance Review Phase of the Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) of the Inter-American Development Bank Group. Previously, she worked as a Legal Assistant at Lichtman & Rosenblum PLLC and as a Drug Policy and Communications Intern at the Washington Office on Latin America (WOLA).

Raquel holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Washington College and a master’s degree in public policy, with a focus on international development, from George Washington University. She speaks Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
