Ferdinando Cinotto, an Italian national, has experience in environmental and social (E&S) due diligence, social safeguards, and development economics. Before joining CAO, he held roles at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Mekong Economics in Yangon, and Development Reimagined in Beijing. His work has included supporting the E&S preparation of projects, conducting policy reviews of projects at the concept and appraisal stages, and leading monitoring and evaluation projects across ASEAN.

Ferdinando holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Peking University, a Master’s in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge, and a B.S. in Development Economics from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies.
