Yukun Wang, a Chinese national, is a Data Scientist Consultant with CAO's Strategy and Operations team, where she leads data management, workflow automation, and digital transformation initiatives, including end-to-end development and continuous enhancement of CAO's Case Management System. With over nine years of experience across the World Bank Group, IFC, and IMF, Yukun brings advanced expertise in R, Python, SQL, and Power BI, which she applies to build automated data pipelines, embed rigorous quality controls, and design executive-level visualizations that translate complex operational data into strategic insight for senior leadership and Board reporting.
Prior to joining CAO, Yukun served as a Data Management Officer in the IMF's Statistics Department, where she modernized data collection and validation workflows for major macroeconomic datasets. Before that, she held data scientist roles across two World Bank Vice Presidencies, developing automated analytical systems for the World Development Indicators portfolio and building real-time portfolio monitoring dashboards that contributed to the foundation of Data 360.
